Spain at Home (UPPENDI CORPORATION, doing business as Spain at Home) wants everyone to be able to browse and shop on spainathome.com, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim for the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is an ongoing effort. We do not claim that every page fully meets the standard today.
What we are doing
We are working to: – Provide text descriptions (alt text) for product images. – Keep sufficient color contrast and readable text sizes. – Make navigation, forms, the cart and checkout usable with a keyboard. – Use clear headings and labels so screen readers can follow the page. – Review new pages and features for accessibility before they go live.
Status of review: we run automated accessibility checks on the main pages and fix what they find; a full manual audit has not been completed yet.
Known limitations
- Some content is provided by third parties we do not fully control, such as payment forms (WooPayments, Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and buy-now-pay-later widgets (Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay), social media embeds, and our cookie banner provider. We encourage these providers to be accessible and will look for alternatives if we find serious barriers.
- Older blog posts, downloadable PDFs (such as our free guide) and images may not yet be fully accessible.
- Some product photos and labels contain text in images; we describe the important information in the product text when we can.
