Description
In a Spanish supermarket, stuffed olives come in packs of three cans: one for today, two for the pantry. We sell Jolca’s olives the same way. Jolca packs its olives near Seville, the home of the Manzanilla olive, and its stuffed olives are the kind Spaniards put out with a caña before lunch.
Choose your pack. The Classic Spanish Trio puts the three bar-counter favorites together: Cantabrian anchovy, sweet piquillo pepper and tuna. The American Trio starts with blue cheese, the martini olive you already know, and adds chorizo and Serrano ham. Or take three cans of the flavor you love.
How to serve. Open the can, drain, and serve at room temperature in a small bowl with a cold beer, a vermouth or a glass of fino. They belong on any board next to jamón, Manchego and chorizo, and a few chopped olives lift a salad, a tortilla or a pasta.
Storage. Unopened cans keep for months in a cool, dry pantry; check the best-before date on each can. Once opened, move the olives and their brine to a glass jar, refrigerate and eat within two weeks.
